Unusual Glazed Redware Jug with Manganese Slash Decoration, possibly PA origin, second half 19th century, cylindrical jug with rounded spout and applied handle, decorated with abstract slashes of manganese over a mottled olive ground with orange spotting. Two small base chips. Heavy wear to top of spout. Chip to spout. Some small flakes to shoulder and body. H 8".
