Rare Meriden, Connecticut Stoneware Presentation Bank, 1896, beehive-form bank with large rounded finial and carved vertical slot, the surface covered in a chocolate-brown Albany slip glazed and incised with the charming inscription "Nellie B. Wilsons Bank from Uncle Jack / Meriden June 6 / 96". Excellent condition. H 3 3/4".
