Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Stenciled Cobalt Rose Decoration, Stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES / GREENSBORO. PA," circa 1875, cylindrical jug with rounded shoulder and tooling at base of spout, decorated with a stenciled rose at the center and freehand stripes at the shoulder and base. Chip to spout and a small salt drip to shoulder on reverse.
