Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Impressed Eagle Decoration, attributed to Gardiner, ME, circa 1875, cylindrical crock with heavily-tooled shoulder, rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with an impressed and cobalt-highlighted design of a flying eagle holding a flag in its talons. Chips to interior of rim. Two inverted, connecting lines extending 5" from rim through one handle.
