Rare One-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Decoration of a Bird on Branch, Stamped "BANGOR STONEWARE CO / BANGOR, MAINE," circa 1875, cylindrical crock with rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt design of a long-tailed bird with crest, perched on a stylized branch. 1" hairline in rim above one handle. H 7 3/8".
