Rare Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "H.H. ZIGLER-, NEWVILLE, PA," circa 1855, ovoid jar with heavily-tooled shoulder and applied lug handles, decorated on the front and back with an elaborate brushed floral design. Wear to surface. 4" crack from rim. Hairline in underside, continuing onto base.
