One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar with Lid, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG. PA," circa 1865, cylindrical jar with flared rim, tooled shoulder, and applied lug handles, decorated with a large cobalt tulip. Chip to one handle. Chips to rim on reverse. Small chips to inner ledge where a lid would rest. Some flaking to lid.
