Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Lid, attributed to R.J. Grier, Chester Co., PA, circa 1880, featuring a brushed swag decoration and cobalt around the knob. A few small chips to underside. Minor chip to knob. Some dryness to areas of cobalt. Diameter 11 1/2".
