Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "NEW GENEVA / POTTERY," circa 1875, semi-ovoid jar with semi-rounded rim and tooling to midsection and rim, the front decorated with bold cobalt stripes flanking the diagonally stenciled words "NEW GENEVA / POTTERY". 2" restored crack at base. Some light areas of fry to cobalt. H 8 1/4".
