Two Stoneware Bottles, Northeastern U.S. origin, third quarter 19th century, one impressed with the cobalt-highlighted advertising "SMITH & SNOWS / WHITEROOT / PAT JULY 17. 66. / ITD & CO. 1873"; paired with a second bottle, impressed "D L O & SON". Whiteroot bottle in excellent condition. Other bottle with spout chip. H (of shorter bottle) 9 3/4".
