Glazed Redware Jar with Lid, PA origin, 19th century, small-sized cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and flared rim, decorated with brushed manganese daubs and covered in a clear lead glaze Includes a 19th-century lead-glazed redware lid with rounded knob, which fits well, but is probably not original to the jar. Wear to edge of lid. Wear to rim and ledge on interior of rim. 1 3/4" area of darkened glaze loss to rim. H (including lid) 7".
