Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1865, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated front and back with a brushed cobalt swag and hanging flower design. Chips on interior of rim. Chip to shoulder molding. Handle chip. Small stone ping to shoulder. 2 3/4" flake to underside at edge. H 14 1/4".
