One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA," circa 1865, semi-ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a brushed cobalt tulip design. Small base chip and a second, possibly in-the-firing, base chip. H 10 7/8".
