Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Leaf Decoration, Ohio origin, circa 1875, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with three brushed tornado-shaped leaves surrounding the number 3. Handle chip. 2 1/2" faint surface line from rim on reverse. Additional faint 3 1/2" Y-shaped surface line on reverse. Neither of these lines extend through to the interior of the crock. H 10 1/2".
