Glazed Redware Figure of an Elephant, English or American, 19th century, molded figure of a elephant with raised trunk, standing on an oval base with raised border. Surface decorated in yellow and brown under a clear lead glaze. Concave underside with clear lead glaze over orange clay. In-the-firing contact mark with related lines on top of head. 2 1/2" long base chip along with a few other minor base chips. H 5 1/2" ; Length 7 1/2".
