Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Star-Shaped Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "M. WOODRUFF / CORTLAND," New York State origin, circa 1867-1869, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed cobalt flower blossom resembling a star. Provenance: Lynn White Collection, Readfield, ME. Mint condition. H 11 1/4".
