Scarce Half-Gallon Stoneware Cream Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, NY State origin, possibly C.W. Braun, Buffalo, NY, circa 1875, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and thin rim, decorated with a slip-trailed daisy blossom below the fraction "1/2". Desirable size. Provenance: Lynn White Collection, Readfield, ME. Excellent condition. Chip at edge on underside, with 2" faint line extending from it. Minor base nick. H 6" ; Diameter (at opening) 7".
