Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "JAS. O. HOWARD / 114 STATE ST / ROCHESTER, N.Y.," circa 1885, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and semi-squared rim, decorated with a slip-trailed flowering plant design below a "3". Fry to cobalt. Large spout chip and smaller spout chip. Base chip on reverse with a short in-the-firing line extending from it. Small base chip on front. H 15 1/2".
