Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Spittoon, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1860, with rounded foot, carved semi-circular opening at shoulder, and circular opening on top surface, decorated with brushed swags and fan-shaped flowers. Two hairlines on top surface. Small base chip. H 4 1/4" ; Diameter 9".
