Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1860, ovoid jar with squared rim and applied tab handles, decorated on the front and back with a cobalt swag and fan-shaped flower design. Glazed-over loss to one handle. Base chip and a few base nicks. Two small chips to interior of rim. H 12 1/4".
