Squat-Shaped Stoneware Wax Sealer with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, wide-bodied, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, rounded rim, and "wax sealer" interior, decorated with three brushed cobalt stripes. Restoration to underside. 2" hairline from rim on reverse and 1" hairline from rim on front. Small chips to inner rim. Small chip to exterior of rim. Small chips to shoulder molding. H 5 1/2".
