Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Cake Crock with Lid, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, with tooled shoulder and ribbed lug handles, decorated with brushed cobalt leaves on the front and back. Lid decorated with cobalt swags. Small rim chips. Small handle chip. Restoration on lid to knob, edge, and underside. H 7" ; Diameter 10 1/4".
