Fine Westerwald Stoneware "GR" Jug with Incised Decoration, German origin, circa 1770, bulbous jug with tooled foot and heavily-tooled collar, decorated with an incised overlapping circle design around an applied "GR" medallion. Sides of jug decorated with elaborate incised foliate designs. Decoration and collar brushed over in cobalt. Incised "8" on reverse. Mint condition. H 5 3/4".
