Outstanding Westerwald Stoneware Jug with Elaborate Incised Decoration, German origin, circa 1720, bulbous jug with tooled foot and heavily-tooled collar, profusely-decorated with an incised flowering vine design. Decoration highlighted in cobalt slip. Additional cobalt applied to base and collar. Small chip on interior of rim. H 7 1/4".
