Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Bird Decoration, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, circa 1880, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder, flaring rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt bird perched on a stylized branch. Excellent condition with a small base chip and expected wear on interior ledge where a lid would rest. H 11 3/4".
