Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "J. & E. NORTON / BENNINGTON, VT.," circa 1855, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and semi-squared rim, cobalt-decorated with a stylized slip-trailed floral spray. 1 3/4" x 1" flake off base on reverse. Short line in spout. Flecks of green paint on surface, not associated with any repair. H 14 1/4".
