Six-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "O.L. & A.K. BALLARD / BURLINGTON, VT.," circa 1860, cylindrical crock with rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with an elaborate brushed cobalt flowering vine design. Significant restoration to cracks throughout, including a crack extending through decoration. Restoration to rim and one handle. H 13 1/4".
