One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "WEST TROY / POTTERY," circa 1880, cylindrical jug with rounded shoulder, tooled spout, and applied handle, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt leaf design. Shallow spout chip and a few spout nicks. A few minor flakes to shoulder. Approximately 2" hairline where handle meets the spout of jug. 1/2" line in spout. Small in-the-firing chip to handle. H 11 1/4".
