One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA," circa 1865, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and squared spout, decorated with a brushed cobalt flowering plant design consisting of two "spitting" tulips and a dotted blossom. Horizontal crack in base of handle. Some light fry to parts of decoration. H 11 1/4".
