Four-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Double Bird Decoration, Stamped "S. HART / FULTON," New York State origin, circa 1860, straight-sided crock with tooled shoulder and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt design of crossed bird accented with dots. Script cobalt "4" with flourishes to the birds' left. Chip to one handle. H 11 3/8".
