Four-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "ITHACA, N.Y.," circa 1890, straight-sided crock with applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt floral design accented with cobalt dots within the flowers' petals. As-made condition with a small in-the-firing stone ping under one handle, a 1 3/4" Y-shaped hairline at base on side of crock, and some in-the-firing residue attached to underside of one handle. H 11".
