One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, MD or DC area, circa 1860, with ovoid midsection, rounded rim, and applied strap handle, decorated on the front and sides with three flowers extending from a leafy stem. Collar decorated with a series of brushed cobalt chain links. Drilled hole at base with 4" line extending through it. Spout chips. H 10 3/4".
