Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, straight-sided jar with rounded shoulder and squared rim, decorated with a three brushed cobalt flower or clover plants extending around the shoulder area. Chip on exterior of rim and chip on interior of rim. Also a small stone ping on interior of rim. Small base chips and a 1 1/4" glazed-over base chip. H 9".
