Glazed Redware Jar, New York State or New England origin, 19th century, cylindrical jar with tapered shoulder and flared rim, the exterior surface covered in an oatmeal-colored, lead-based glaze with iron flecking, the interior with salmon-colored glaze and oatmeal highlights. Heavy chipping and wear to rim. A minor base chip. H 6 7/8".
