Two Stoneware Jars with Cobalt Floral Decoration, NY State origin, second quarter 19th century, each of ovoid, tall-collared form with brushed tulip motif, a one-gallon jar, stamped "M. TYLER. ALBANY / MANUFACTURER," and a two-gallon jar, stamped "W.E. WARNER- / MANUFACTURER ALBANY." Provenance: William Bouck Collection. Tyler jar with a 2" crack from rim, a 2 1/4" surface line from rim on interior (not visible on exterior), small chips to interior of rim, some light surface wear to shoulder area and one handle, and typical in-the-firing pings to surface. Warner jar with chipping around rim, chips to proper right handle, an approximately 4" crack from rim on proper left side, and minor traces of old green paint to underside. H (of taller) 10 1/2".
