Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Stamped "F. B. NORTON & CO / WORCESTER MASS," circa 1858-1877, a three-gallon semi-ovoid jug with large parrot-on-leaf motif, paired with a two-gallon churn with foliate motif, including a three-gallon Albany-slip-glazed churn lid. Provenance: William Bouck Collection. Jug with a tiny chip and hairlines to handle, some fry to cobalt, and in-the-firing pings and staining to surface, the spout with minor chips and minor surface lines. Churn with a minor handle chip, chipping and wear to inner rim for lid, black marker notation to underside, and a few in-the-firing pings to reverse. Lid with small chips and wear, does not fit churn. H (of jug) 16".
