Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, Stamped "LYONS," Thompson Harrington, Lyons, NY, circa 1860, ovoid jug with thick, semi-rounded spout, brush-decorated with a crescent-shaped foliate motif beside the number, "2." Cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some minor staining. H 14 1/2".
