Glazed Redware Ring Bottle, American, 19th century, ring-shaped form with applied, whittled spout, the surface covered in a yellowish glaze with later painted floral decoration. Provenance: Includes an old printed tag, reading "ARM-FLASK OR HARVESTER JUG / USED BY SETH SWETLAND, B. 1807, WYOMING, PA., D. SPARTA, 1891 / GRANDSON OF LUKE SWETLAND, THE SENECA CAPTIVE, 1729-1823. 2ND & 4TH GREAT GRAND FATHERS OF JAMES ROBERT HOPKINS." Very nice condition with small flakes to top edge of spout. L 9 1/2".
