Two Pieces of Manganese-Decorated Redware, American, 19th century, a cylindrical jar, decorated with sponged manganese daubs over a dark-red ground and covered in a clear lead glaze, paired with an ovoid jug with spattered manganese under a clear lead glaze. Jar with some restoration to rim and some small, unrestored flakes to base area. Jug with a 7/8" base chip, a small spout flake, a min0r in-the-firing ping to body, and minor wear to handle. H (of jar) 6 7/8".
