Small-Sized Stoneware Chicken Waterer with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1885, domed form with button-shaped finial and applied watering trough with carved opening, brush-decorated with foliate motifs around the trough and at the shoulder on the reverse. Restoration to most of finial. Areas of restoration to opening of trough. A faint 1" line extending from the edge of the trough. A tight 6" spider crack to proper left side of waterer. H 8 1/2".
