Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Pitcher, NC or Southwestern VA origin, second half 19th century, ovoid pitcher with tooling to midsection and rim, the surface covered in a mottled, whitish-olive alkaline glaze with low luster. Provenance: Carole Wahler Collection. A few chips to handle. A small shallow chip to interior of rim and some light rim wear. H 6 3/8".
