Three-Gallon Glazed Stoneware Jar, Signed "R B," Robert Broyles, Cherokee County, SC, early 20th century, stylishly potted, highly ovoid jar with flaring collar and flattened lug handles, the surface covered in a mottled brown glaze. Signed at shoulder with the initials, "RB," above the number, "3," denoting three gallons. Excellent condition with a minor rim nick and two minor nicks to proper left handle. H 13 1/4".
