Scarce Small-Sized Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to the Decker Pottery, Washington County, TN, circa 1872-1910, tapering jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, brush-decorated around the body with four diagonal tulip motifs. A very large reglued L-shaped broken and reglued section to base area/underside, adjacent to two smaller broken and reglued sections. Some additional lines to underside, one of which extends a short distance onto base. A glazed-over, in-the-firing base chip. A few very minor rim nicks. H 8".
