Rare Redware Dish with Manganese Slip Decoration, NC origin, circa 1820-1850, thin-walled, flaring dish with semi-rounded rim, decorated with crossing and circular slip-trailed bands of manganese slip under a clear lead glaze. Very nice condition with minor wear to interior and light wear to exterior of rim. Diam. 9 3/4" ; H 2 1/4".
