Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jar, Stamped "PAUL : CUSHMAN," Albany, NY, early 19th century, cylindrical jar with flattened rim and tooled and rounded shoulder, the surface covered in a clear salt glaze. Two rim chips and a minor rim nick. A 4" Y-shaped line to shoulder. A crack across underside, forming a large Y at base on two opposing sides. A small piece of adhered clay to underside. Some small in-the-firing flaws to surface. H 12 1/2".
