Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, Stamped "C. CROLIUS / MANUFACTURER / NEW-YORK," early 19th century, ovoid pitcher with footed base, short collar, and tooled accents to upper body and rim area, brush-decorated with three stylized drape motifs. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Rim chips. In-the-firing lines around handle terminals. An in-the-firing iron ping near upper handle terminal. Minor surface crazing to base. An oval in-the-firing flake to underside. H 10 3/4".
