Unusual Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with pronounced shoulder molding and short, flaring collar, brush-decorated in Albany slip with an unusual drape-and-tassel motif above dipped sections lined with spots. Dipped drape decoration to collar and vertical dashes along molding below. Albany slip highlight to handle terminal. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 6 3/8".
