One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "RICHEY & HAMILTON / PALATINE. / W. VA.," circa 1875, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring Richey & Hamilton maker's stenciling surrounding stenciled floral motifs. Freehand stripe below rim and at base. Some wear to surface and cobalt. Otherwise excellent condition. H 10".
