Four-Gallon Stoneware Water Cooler with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "OTTMAN BROS. & CO. / FORT EDWARD, NY," circa 1875, keg-form cooler with circular bunghole, the surface decorated with incised and cobalt-highlighted banding flanking a stylized floral spray accented with spots. A network of tight lines to midsection on reverse, not visible on interior. A 1 1/4" chip to interior of rim. A 5/8" flake to underside of bunghole and minor flake to interior edge of bunghole. A short line descending from bunghole. A short line at base on reverse. H 13 5/8".
