Two Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Pitchers, Signed "Lanier Meaders," Cleveland, GA origin, circa 1970s-1980s, one of rotund form with heavily-pinched spout, the other of ovoid form with wide spout, each covered in an olive-colored alkaline glaze. Both incised with Lanier Meaders signatures on underside, the smaller including the incised number, "5," within a circle. Provenance: Frank W. White Collection. Both in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of taller) 9".
